About Reach Out Community Wellbeing and Support

Our Mission

 

Reach Out Community Wellbeing and Support are a registered charity within East Kilbride offering Adults/Families with the following:

  • Emotional Support
  • To anyone experiencing loneliness or isolation within the community.
  • Check-in service via phone or in person.
  • Need for Food or Personal Care.
  • For individuals looking to enhance their wellbeing via tailored person centred support. 
  • For individuals looking to take part in planned activities.
  • Support via C.R.A.F.T (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) to those experiencing someone else's addiction.
  • Signposting people to access a range of support/ Charity/ services within our commuinity.


Our Highly Trained staff and facilitators are also trained in Counselling skills which allows us to offer you a range of services to help improve your mental health and wellbeing. Giving you UPR (unconditional positive regard). Gaining access to the tools which will enable to you thrive. We offer Non judgemental approach to our support, giving you a safe space to talk freely.

We do not offer a Counselling service, however we can refer you on to access counselling elsewhere at a discounted rate.

We are strictly confidential. The only time we will share your information is if we feel you could be at risk of hard to yourself or others.

If you have been referred to us via third party such as, Adult Social Work Services, The NHS, Women's Aid etc. We will notify them that you have been added to our service. We will treat you with dignity and respect and will request the same in return please.

Our Community

 We work with individuals through 1:1person centred support, group work, & community engagement projects to provide emotional support to Adults within our community. Offering a Befriending initiative & other services to reduce isolation and loneliness.

Our Impact

Over the past year, we have helped over 1,000 individuals in our community improve their mental health and well-being.

Engagement with the right support is key to help reduce Social Isolation and loneliness within our community


Providing Ongoing Ostomy Support Scotland

POOS Scotland provide support to those who have an Ostomy, Colostomy, Ileostomy or require Catheter use and may be struggling or requires a little support from people in similar situations.
